I would think a silver or dark charcoal would look better than orange or other bright color.. Ive heard from some that they like the bright colors for a while and then it get tiresome. Just something to consider.

Bright colors on the interior look good, but get old fast. I'd go with something subtle.
For a pewter car, I'd go with pewter, gunmetal, or somekind of dark grey.
My car is Navy Blue, and my dash bezels are painted Navy Blue. It's a subtle look, and I don't get sick of it.
Oh... and if you're planning on doing this yourself... take your time!

If painted good and not to flashy I love how it looks. I wanted to bring the pewter color on the inside of my car also and this worked out perfect. Now I just need to get some custom pewter/ebony leather seats .

I painted my interior with a custom color that looks like a brushed aluminum and in different lighting it looks like it kinda matchs the color to my car.

I would go with Pewter for a Pewter car. I wouldnt put too much clear either, I think the interior shouldnt be too shiny IMO

i dont have any pics, but i have some of my interior pieces painted the color of my car. i also shaved the cupholder, ashtray, cubby and cig lighter on the console if not over done and prepped, painted well it can look really good. i wouldnt do the gauge surround or the pillars or it can tend to be cluttered especially with brighter colors. clean them with 409 and scotch brite. then sand with 180, prime, sand with 220, prime, then wetsand. they should be smooth as glass. do not spary paint, have them painted professially base/clear. they will look and be as smooth as paint on the exterior of your car.its not somthing to rush or it will look like **** and those pieces are $$$$$$$$$ to replace.
