I like to row through the gears on the street. For me it makes driving less boring. Bob

I'd say a stick since you can more easily catch a higher RPM from a roll if you wanted to (not so dependent on what MPH you start at). Just downshift and hammer it. Handy since prochargers make boost directly based on RPM.

I prefer manual because its a lot of fun......but an auto with a high stall would keep the rpms up too

High Stalls on the street do not work as nice as a stick. They eat up all the power on a role on. Standards are the funnest to drive hands down. The blower will work great with either of the two. The advantage you have with the auto is it can be built stronger and at the track the auto will run a quicker ET. But on the street, stick is were the fun is.

Banging gears on the street is definitely fun. If you want the ET then go auto cause the boost will stay up.

For the street, definitely go with a manual. A track car is better as an auto for consistency and better ET's.
