will the 08 x-pipe fit under the 09?
Well I am told that the longtubes of a 08 will fit a 09, but I was not sure if the 08 x-pipe would fit correctly under the 09. I do know the muffles have different hanging points.
So any input about the x-pipe will be greatly appreciated.
Sorry is this is a silly question.

In the rear, yes, to accomodate a change in the rear crossmember. But not where the h-pipe or x-pipe is located. And this is only for non-Z06. Original Poster didn't specify what he's driving. Z06 didn't change.
So the X-pipe should theoretically be the same.
EDIT: Well, maybe not: http://www.thepartsbin.com/sitemap/b...ipe~parts.html

I don't know if this helps any, but I went from a Kooks catted x-pipe to a catless x-pipe and I ONLY ordered the x-pipe, since I didn't need the rear pipes. They're actually called mid pipes I think. Anyway, the x-pipe only is for 97-09 models. I couldn't believe it was the same for all those models.
