Default Driveshaft with TCS?

My mechanic told me that i have to have a specific driveshaft because my car has traction control. Is this true? I was about to buy a non-TCS driveshaft. Any help is appreciated.

what does the driveshaft have to do with traction control? umm nothing. there were two driveshafts used in F-bodys a one piece and a two piece. but i dont think it was tcs dependent.

Thanks, I got everything worked out. I think it was just a miscommunication.
