Default best intake for forged ls2 w 317's d1sc

Hey guys, just wondering what you think will be the best intake to run with my setup. I'm currently running the stock ls6 with the stock tb, but I know there's room for improvement, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated fast 90/90...

thanks, John

I have actually heard some boosted guys really like the LS2 intake. Some also like the aluminum intakes for added strength & porting ability. And we know the LS6 intake works perfectly fine as well.

I know my buddy ChevyChad made over 600rwhp thru a LS6 intake on a P1 set-up. So unless your looking to get crazy or just wanna spend the money on another intake the LS6 should be sufficient.

John this has been talked about a million times and what you have will do the job and more-

theirs been many people do a ls6 vs a fast and only about 1-2% of people say that the fast gain them something................

spend money elsewhere like head setup, gaskets, head geometry and good springs stuff like that frees up the engine......

thanks guys, I have done alot of searches and have trouble finding exactly what I am looking for. I don't mean to clutter up the site.

I don't have the cash for heads right now but eventually I will, I already have patriot springs and the Harland sharp mod done to my rockers on the 317's
What about upgrading my stock throttle body is that worth it ?
car put down 654 and 584 on 16lbs. Id like 700+ Im going to put a front mount on it and ditch the twin ics also

you will gain some off a ported throttle body but your money is best spent elsewhere. the fmic is a good step and maybe a pulley swap if you havent maxed out the d1 yet.
