wow, that stage 3.5 looks sick as ****. I went with the stage 3 myself. New monster owners keep popping up...imaging how many people would have them if this economy wasn't in the *******.

could have fooled me, looked like a level 6.5 being sintered iron disk?? I had one of these already, drive ability is badass with the full face disk.

the stage 3 is a 6 puck design not a full face....I'm confused. I know it's a .5 stage but I thought it was still the same design. I have the same clutch but haven't taken the clutch disc out to see what it looks like. That is one wicked looking clutch disc.

The stage 3 is a 6 puck design, what I have is a stage 3.5 which is a full face design, for smoother engagement, and guaranteed no clutch chatter

Right, the LEVEL 3 is a puck design

The LEVEL 3.5 is full face for smoother engagement and no chatter (as stated)

so why dont more people go with the 3.5 instead of the 3? Is the 3.5 better for street driving but doesnt hold as hard or overheat on the track??

Just wondering.

$$$ is why. The 3.5 is more expensive, and especially in today's economy, some want to save every penny they can, and if that means they have to put up with some chatter during break in to save that money, they have that option (and you have to commend Monster for having those options to suit BOTH types of people )

When I bought my stage 3, I went with it over the 3.5 because I thought the puck design was better for drag racing. I think it has something to do with heat displacement...but I may be wrong.

Oh no, you are correct as well. I just meant that in most cases, money plays a big factor is all.
