If you have off road y and maganflow cat back, it will be raspy as hell. I know because I have that exact setup.

Does any one have sound clip of SLP loudmouth with Pacesetters LTs? I currently have the LM installed and was going to get the LTs installed but was told that it would be load and raspy.

It is loud and raspy, I was told to go to magnaflow or borla. http://ls1sounds.com/magnaflow.htm

There is a 2002 Camaro with OTP Headers and ORY and it sounds badass.

I wouldn't think so because you have alot more muffler with the Magnaflow, but I've never heard the LM in person. I personally run the true duals until inspection time then I put the catback on and will run it for a month or two because I'm too lazy to change it back. But during that time, I rarely get on it because it just sounds bad to me.

I have the set up your talking about and it is not raspy at all. If you can wait till the weekend I will submit a sound clip of what mine sounds like. I love my headers, ory, and Magnaflow. It sounds awesome.

My exact set up - Pacesetter LTs, ORY, magnaflow cat back. Have had this system on there since it was a bolt-on only car, to a h/c/i car, and now it's current set up of the 416 in my sig.

Never had any rasp - ever. IMO sounds much better the the LM catbacks I've heard. Very nice idle sound, that really comes to life when WOT with no rasp.

Only down side are the limitations on hp - if I had a choice on keeping the same exact sound when I redo my exhaust, I would def want to keep the sound the same...but I do not think that will be feasable

from every LS1 i've heard, never mattered on the brand because anytime it was ORY and a catback it's raspy as ****!! when i had LT's i went 3" true duals under the axle out the back with LM1 at first, it wasn't raspy just loud as hell lol then i went to Sweet Thunder chambered mufflers on the true duals and i've loved it eversince!!!! my opinion ditch the catback all together and have a set of true duals welded up, my true duals with my mufflers sounded a hell of alot better than my buddies true duals with magnaflow bullets

I have a H/C/I car with TSP 1 7/8" LT's and TSP ORY. My first catback was just the standard Magnaflow with the slash tips... It was terrible, way to raspy. Then I went to the Magnaflow with the quad tips... This IMO was the best sounding exhaust I had heard. I work at a shop and have heard them all and loved this exhaust.. The only down fall was that it seemed the longer I had the exhaust the raspier it got.. plus the tips are very hard to keep looking good. I sold that and got a SLP Dual Dual with out the cone of silence. This is alittle raspy but is super quite at highway speeds and still has a nice tone at WOT. I have not dynoed my car to see what I lost ... I did make 483 rwhp with my Magnaflow quad tip no cutout... I hope this helps ! I am looking something diffirent know, just have not come to a conclusion on what I want to get... I am curious to see if anyone has run the Stainless Works 3.5" exhaust they have with the dual tips ? I have not ever seen one of these on a F-body.

A buddy has Pacesetters, ORY, and Magnaflow with tailpipes from his old Flowmaster catback. No rasp.
