Well my buddies have talked me into going auto. I know there is A LOT of room for improvements with the setup I currently have. The car has an old mail order tune from Texas speed for another motor Lol. 3000 pounds roughly with me in it. The rearend is still a 240 IRS with no suspension mods besides homemade strengthening control arms. The car hooks great but if I leave harder than 4500 it snaps an axle. Upgraded axles 2000 no warranty. So here's the timeslip from current setup
60 - 1.61
1/8 - 7.02
Mph - 102.7
1/4 - 10.70
Mph - 130.7
Ok so they talked me into trading for a th350 setup. I'm not gonna lie I LOVE banging gears but I wanna go fast cuz where I live street cars are getting faster by the min. I'm getting excited and hoping they are right. Any thoughts or suggestions ?

10.70's on a 6 speed must be fun. You should be lopping off nearly a 1/2 second, depending on converter, and final gears.

I just put a th350 and 5200 stall in my car and I LOVE it. Banging gears with a reverse valve body auto is way funner than a six speed IMO.

i also just swapped from a M6 to a TH400 RMVB , 5200 stall and cut .5 off my time without any major testing !!! yes its still fun to drive and now i'm actually running faster mph and et !

Thanks guys. This was on motor and its setup for spray. I'm really excited to get the auto in and get it tuned.
