quickest bolt on car with exhaust manifolds??? me??? I was just looking to see what the fastest is time that a bolt on car with exhaust manifold is. I also wanted to know what the fastes with nitrous is?
I was thinking about shooting for this goal. I know there isn't much of interest in it but I was thinking about it.

OU812/z28 's car went 12.34 at 108 at 3500 race weight. with just an airlid asp pully 3600Yank and hooker catback. No tuneing or weight reduction. This was at the Thunder shootout on Sunday and air was not the best.
This was a 99 also with stock ls1 int. with a 1.63 60ft.

WS6Luvr Nitin Reddy went 11.96 114mph 2 years ago with a 99 ws6 6 speed with 4.10 gears, borla exhaust, other bolt ons, but stock manifolds/cats and stock internals.

3500 lb race weight with no weight reduction??????????? does he weigh less than air????
I wish I could get my car down to a 3500 lb race weight I could probably go 12.1's.
I wonder if any of these cars have had nitrous on them though. I doubt I could beat any of the 11 second motor passes but a nitrous pass should easily put me in the 10's with a slightly bigger shot and some traction.

OHHHHHHHHH I got ya there. This isn't a Z28 your talking about is it? Maybe blue?? You remember the tall lanky fella I was with @ the TR shootout, his name is also Josh, well he said he knew of a guy that had a blue(I think it was blue but I can't remember) that ran 12.3's on motor and then ran like 11 somethings on a dry shot of nitrous. He said our setups were almost identical.

Yeah, That is the same car. Ben has run 11.4's on a dry shot but he wont spray out the whole . He has his red lt1 car for all out raceing so he dont want to break the blue one. It would run some 11.2's if he would spray out the whole. He broke the 10bolt twice at the shootout in his red car and finished 2nd in modified stock.

The will to race. His car was supposed to be ready for last years shootout but one thing after another prevented him from being there. The car had only been to the track 2 times before the shootout and broke the rear on the time before the shootout. so that is 3 times in a month for that rearend...
He is getting a 12 bolt in next week in trade for some work + the rear out of his blue car. Then he will replace the one in the blue car with another 10 bolt with 3.73 gears and see what it will run. Hard core racer
