M6 or A4, will be a deal breaker for a lot. M6 will bring more money. I would say you should be able to get ~15,000 for it. I paid $16,250 for my loaded 99 M6 with 34k miles in October FWIW.

Because of the year and miles most banks wont lend on it. (Banks want '02+ and 60 ~80k miles tops on 60 months) The customer would have to have a credit union with less stringent rules to get a check.

Most buyers don't have 15k in cash to hand over (since financing is hard)... and the people that do are looking for the WORLD when it comes to choice.

That being said, are your goals to buy another car possibly from a dealer? It may be a better bet to get the dealer to put highest trade in value and take the bullet.

Whether it's 15k or 12k or 17k.... not many people have that cash. My advice is the get the names of some credit unions a person can join and get financed on your car, and put the mention in the ad of "possible financing with good credit"

That will put you in a better spot when you ask $xx,xxx because the buyer can get a check.

If anything do you have a ebay account if so put it on Ebay, and put on a 8k reserve and let it go from there. That is the best I can come up with. Also you can research on the site what more or less they are going for and mileage so it lets you set the reserve price. I have never had issues on that site with anything.

honest truth, C5 prices are in the tank right now, and the mods will hurt you. Probably be very very lucky to see anything over 13k with those miles

It depends on how nice it is and how long u can sit on it...I still think c5 are bad to the bone and the first REAL vette ever produced...I just traded my 00 vert 69k with no cats and slp loudmouth for 15,000....don't give it away u will regret it...good luck!
