Default tube size to an question

I've been using 3/8 tubing and 6 a-n fittings for my fuel system . Now I'm using 5/16 for the transmission , what sine a-n fittings should I be using? Thanks, JOHN

5/16 is a -5 hard to get cause no one stocks it but if you have time to wait it can be ordered im pretty sure you can only get it from "Earl's"

AN is always 1/16 of an inch, example 1/2 line is 8/16 so -8 AN 3/4 is 12/16 so -12

hope that helps simply... that being said you rarely see many odd numbers expect maybe -3 for brake stuff, good luck

Are you going 5/16 hardline? Russell makes a 5/16 hardline to -6 an male and female fittings.

thanks for the info , I actually used rubber line and double clamped it , its for the tranny lines so it should hold ok . JOHN
