Default Changing front pads!

I was driving home yesterday and my front brakes started squilling SUPER LOUD!!!!! Within a matter of seconds they sounded like I have driven them to metal! This will be the first time I change them on a Cadillac and wanted to know if I have to do anything different that I wouldnt do on any of my other cars? I usually just open the brake fluid cap and twist the wheels to let all the presure get out of the lines before changing the pads! I have a guy that has been working on my cars for years and my wife wants me to take it to him so I can watch him and see if its done any different then my other cars...

These are a lot different than other cars but if you dont replace the rotors, its easier. The calipers dont come off if you aren't changing the rotors. I think there is a good right up on cadillac faqs.

Check out cadillacfaq it's really one of the easiest brakes to swap.
