Default cooling line -pressure question

I'm plumbing my 4l80e lines and will be using a piece of flex between the rad. hard lines and the trans hard lines. can i just clamp some hose onto the lines or should i connect them with flared and threaded fittings? thanks JOHN

Cooler line pressure is not that high, I think about 30 or 40 PSI. You could flare the end of the steel line to keep the hose from coming off and use a hose clamp. I of course would suggest using steel braided lines, but that does get expensive.

Im using soft lines between each hard lines. i believe the cooler install instructions said you could just rough up the surface with some fine sand paper, and just use clamps. I just added new line, with clamps (Bypassing stock cooler) and havent had a single issue.
