Default Trans won't shift after install

Installed a new 4l60 and it won't shift now and the speedo does not work. Goes into first and reverse fine but shift any higher. WhAt do you guys think could be the problem?

Speedometer is not working. I double checked the fluids and they are at the proper levels.

Performabuilt is saying the reason it won't shift is because the speedometer is not working. The computer does not see movement, so it won't command a shift.

Yep what they said. Make sure you pluged the sensor harness in and go from there.
