Default 13.274 @ 107.56 - What's wrong with my car?

I ran that tonight with the mods in my sig. I The wheels I was using are OEM Z06 wheels with 295/35/18 Pirelli P-Zero Asimetricos @ 22 PSI.

First two runs I knock off 13.5xx with 106.xx trap speed (2.28). I had 1.5-2* of KR all through the run. IAT sensor was reading 118. I attributed the knock to that. The WOT setting on the MAFT was at 4% lean. I had dynoed 340 with the setting at 6% lean, but it was pinging (most likely because of the hot air in the room).

I added 118 octane gas and ran again. 13.45x @ 106.xx (2.3x). 0 degrees of knock.

Switched MAFT to 10% lean. Ran a 13.274 @ 107.56 (2.18). 0 degrees of knock.

Now my trap speed is real good, but 6 months ago before my headers, suspension and wheels, I ran a 13.1 @ 106.5 (2.001) with just a lid, TB, MAF, and exhaust, and on stock wheels and tires.

What's slowing me down? Is it the wheels and my lack of traction? Is that all that is wrong with this setup?

Looks to me like it's all in traction. Your 60' needs improvement. You have at least a 1/2 second in et just in your launch. It can be tough on street tires though...18's at that.

I'd say the car is fine. It's your driving that needs work. Not trying to be rude. Just calling it like I see it.

Ok, so it IS my driving. Good. I like that better than the car being all f'ed up.

What sucks is I had ordered Comp T/As but they never came in so i just went with street tires. I will try again later with those and seee how i hook.

Sorry to inform you that it isn't that easy. Launching a A4 is probably easier that launching a M6 BUT it isn't as simple as "push the pedal to the floor and dont let up" If you have a torque converter and you try that method you will get about a 3 second 60' time. You have to gradually get into it as quick as you can with very little wheel spin. It takes some practice to learn your car. If the track sucks then you are really screwed.
