umm. you question does not make much sense what do you mean? Are you refereing to a fuels octane rating? and what do you want to know about it, all an octane rating is, is a measure of the fuels resistance to detonation.

I know what octane is.
I'm asking if i take 91 and leave it in my car for a month... is it still 91 or does it deteriorate?

A month is nothing. Long term storage is another issue. If you are worried about it buy some STA-BIL.

Examples?? I have it in all my lawn equipment and my neighbor has 14 collector cars with it in each tank. No issues and perfect gas. They are a well-known product used by thousands and thousands of people that own EXPENSIVE collector cars. I sure want to hear about it as would the company.

I put 3 gallons of 100 and 2 gallons of 91. I only drive my car around the block like once month. How long should this gas be good for?

Without Sta-bil I would get nervous after about 4 months. It helps being out in AZ I would think without the moisture issues. Probably won't hurt anything up to that point, but after that....

I've still got half a drum of 111 octane but its about 5 years old. Probably only useful for starting the burn pile now :(
