Default Another new Bolt-on Stock Internal best

Ran another new best this Saturday at MIR in my Bolt-on Stock internal car ! Air wasn't as good as last week but still managed to run a 11.406 @ 117.38 with a tire rotating 1.537 60'.
Early in the day(before the oil downs) I cut a new best 60' of 1.495, finally broke into the 1.40's.

Congrats...What was the DA? I'm guessing your raceweight is about 3000lbs.

Congrats TJ. What is the bolt on record anyway? For those that haven't seen this car, it is not a gutted tin can. Its a clean as hell Firehawk that has gone through weight reduction the right way. With air like last weekend the bolt on record should be yours

Thanks everyone, I'm trying real hard to better the bolt-on record. On the LS1 tech ET list it's 11.322. Only few few weeks left to do it in as I will be a H/C car next season.
As for the weight of the car, no it's not a tin can, I am around 3200lbs give or take a few pounds. I wish I was 3000lbs, more than likely would have seen 20's if that was the case.

Thanks again everyone, gonna give it my best in the next few weeks weather permitting !!

DA was around sea level all day until around 4:00pm, then it dropped to -277. The track was awfull greasy by then with all the oil downs and couldn't really take advantage of it.

Howdy dude. Hey....sneaking up on your 11.54 (which is goal #2 - my long time goal has been to beat Raughammers old 11.56 run). Went 11.60 @ 114 w/1.55 60 ft a week ago....had to use my stock mass-air meter (turns out that was the problem I've been having all year - including the NvsS shootout...dammit). Then went 11.62 @ 115 Friday night (still stock meter) with a very poor 1.64 60 ft. With traction, that was the pass, but isn't that usually the case? Shoulda Coulda Woulda. The track kicked me out for no bar anyways...LOL.

Got one more chance this year. Will let you know.

ROTHFLMAO!!

Tim, you should update the ET Database. But, I keep a independent Stock Internals list becuase it's easier to manage.
