Wow, the 315's fit those wheels with no problems? My rears are 10 inches wide, and I'm worried about putting 315's on them. I have 305's right now with no problem.

Nittos run narrow. Its not recommended to run the 315 on a 9.5 tire...but many people do it with nittos...and have no problems.

Car looks awesome with those wheels.

Ill most likely be buying the setup in a 17x9.5 up front and 18x10.5 in the rear, wish these came in a 17x11......damn 18" tires costing so much!

nt01's do not run narrow. only the 555r's btw. these were just shy of 13 in wide. they did bulge a lil, but regardless of what anyone says its fine.
bulging is very minimal and the nt01's are a very stiff sideway which makes them safer.

I know Nitto's run narrow, believe me. Lol. But here's something I've always wondered... Call me stupid, but what's the point of running a Nitto that's a 315, if it fits the same as another tire that's a 285? If they are the same width, don't they put down the same amount of rubber to the street?

yes it does. like i said its a stiff sidewall. its not a drag radial. and for the record anyone who knows anything about tires knows that nt01's and 555r's are different. nt01's run wide.

You sound a little hostile. I'm not trying to say anything bad about/towards you. I'm just genuinely curious as to why some people run a 315 that is the same width as a narrower tire. Because if there IS a difference, you can better believe I'm going to do it. Lol.
