Default MTI T1 question and 1.8 roller rocker?

So I have a couple questions?

What is the exact specs of the MTI T1 cam? Bought one used, no cam card, I can look at the engraving when I get home.

I have also seen several different specs for this same cam?

LG has one listed with the following specs: 221/221 Duration 550/550 Lift 116 LSA

Searches on here have yielded:

221 in. 221 ex. .559 lift 112 lsa
221/221 .558/.558 lift and 112lsa
221/221 .558/.558 lift and 112+4 lsa

And a cam card:

i really need to know whats going on here before i damage my $15000 motor. please help.
I am with this guy even though it's not my $15k motor it's my only motor for now.

So many variation of the same cam?

SECOND QUESTION
Can I run this cam with 1.8 roller rockers on a stock bottom end and not have any PTV clearance issues? Has anybody done this, this would be your time to chime in. Stock 853 casting heads will be used or possbily some untouched stock 5.3 heads. Gonna use 7.400 chromoly push rods.

Thanks in advance.

Lots of guys tried the 1.8 rockers with the older style cams back in the day and it never showed any gains worth the trouble. Not too mention you have to run a much beefier spring.

If your cam choice is set on the T1, use it with a set of 918s and save yourself the money you'll waste for 5 more HP (or less). You can't take advantage of massive lift unless you have a cylinder head to support it.

I do have PRC Dual Gold valve springs ready to go on with the 1.8's as well as the T1 in hand (sitting in the garage....paitiently waiting). Probably overkill but I would rather have the parts that can handle more than I am throwing at it than fall short.

PTV clearance goiing to be an issue either way? Thanks for the response.

PTV is more so affected by duration, and ICL. You could fit a small bus in between the valves and pistons with a T1 cam. There is plenty of room. I've shaved off .040 off a set of heads before and still had clearance with a T1 cam.

Again, you're wasting your time with 1.8 rockers and that cam, but it's your money. Let us know how it goes

put the $$ for the rockers towards some head work...even just a touch up or mill job on the stockers.

you'll gain FAR more power than what the lift increase will gain you.
