Default Anybody in the dfw area?

I need input on a good transmission shop in the dfw area for a rebuild on my 4l60e. i want to get it built for a mild setup. So can somebody please help me out, i want a shop that does great work and will not screw me over with fair priceing also.

Is there some reason you wont condiser just getting a unit from one of the sponsors here, Ourselves or one of the others here?

because i have a blown one that i want to get fixed and it will be cheaper, i did make a thread in the parts wanted section also. i see you sell transmissions. what the lowest i can get a level 1 trans with a converter?

I noticed awhile back they were banned.

That would be 2200 shipped . No core required with a 2 year warranty.
also since your and lsx once you have the new trans you can box up the old one we will have it picked up and give you $150 back

mine just went out yesterday n i dont know who to go to. 2200 its a lil high for me

You get what you pay for.
I don't know Frank's specific builds but a 4L60E for mild performance use is about $600-700 in parts alone (without converter) IF it doesn't need a bunch of hard parts like a pump, input drum, etc. and that is at trans shop cost.

Rebuild kit- $125
Band-$25-30
bushing kit-$20
thrust washer kit- $10
Beast sun shell- $50
Pump "kit"- $40
New reverse drum- $65
Valve body kit- $75
solenoids- $45
manifold pressure switch- $25
3-4 clutch pack clutchs for mods- $40-50
filter- $5
servos- $10-200

inevitably it'll need some planets or other hard part.

Couple hundred for a decent converter, more for a GOOD converter, core cost, labor and overhead, etc.

2 yr warranty....

Frank's price is pretty fair IMO.
