Default Anyone heard/read about any venues for '10.

Just curious, I know it's a little early. I've been reading on the HRM forum some trying to see if there's any news.

Yea, they told us that at Bristol this year. I was wondering about venues after the start date?

I don't think it's starting at Bristol, and I've heard Texas is in the picture since Painless stepped up as a big sponser. Just rumors though.

Pretty sure it'll start near Bristol somewhere! There has been/ and was a lot of talk this year of Texas.....maybe ending here or having venues, nothing is set yet though.

From the Hot Rod forum >> "My apologies, but schedules will likely change to June 5 kickoff date.

We're trying to get the cities together, but it will be awhile before we get it done.

Yes I know, that was gay. The guys at the Somerset trailer should have had a sign and should have had something in their brochure stating that somerset was in a dry county- that would have helped alot of us out.

Yea, or a sign leaving OHIO stating; Buy your beer now, next venue NO BEERSVILLE, KY! I wanted so bad just to have a cold one and wash the car. Then it poured rain on the clean car anyway.....again

The people there were nice but the venue site sucked big time...everything was too spread out...and no beer is the kiss of death..They should start it in Bristol a great facility to say the least ... and the drive into and out of is great ...

The 15th Annual 2009 Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour covered 1176 miles this year. That distance is about average for the Power Tour. It is usually in the 1200 mile range. It was the biggest one ever held. There were 1342 cars occupied by 2375 people who made the Long Haul and the total number of cars that participated on the tour was 4571. All of these numbers were the highest in the history of the event. Estimated attendence to all of the cruise ins was 69,000 people. I had a great time as usual too ...
