"In his conversation with Automobile, Lutz also essentially confirms that next year's Cadillac CTS coupe will be joined by a V-series variant, saying that the CTS-V coupe was the car that had most of the Presidential Task Force members' tongues wagging during the product-pipeline tour they were given by GM. Lutz even hints that a CTS-V wagon is not completely out of the question. (We'll take the wagon in brown, with the stick, Bob."
it's been in the works since last yr from a motor trend mag i have floating around.
idk how far on the back burner it got pushed due to the decline of government motors.
i think it's an obvious step with the v series, as it's only smart to keep pushing
this very successful modle farther out of reach for the euro junks to ever ketchup.

true a 4 door car with a manual kicking *** is a surpirse to most people and uncommon and has a very different "cool" factor. What I want to see though is the 4 door for people that want it or for people with kids and then a 2 door version for people wanting to stand out and be "sporty" the best of both worlds.

Looks like the 2-door Accord or Hyundai Genesis Coupe, pick your poison.

I guess if you still need rear seats, buy a V2 Coupe. If you want a pure race car, and want two doors, look at slightly used C6Zs, as choices are always good.

The car is gorgeous from the doors forward but from the doors back it looks horrible. I am not digging the half-roached look in the rear, way to high from the rear view in my opinion. The rear seems to share a variant with the G6?!?

another poor attempt from gm.....remember the camaro...wow what a nice car, why don't we make the same car, just call it a firebird? It's a 4 door. If we wanted a badass 2 door cadillac, we would all be driving XLR-V's. The 3rd and 4th door is the appeal to me. I need to be able to put my child in her Simpson Racing car-seat with out any problems. JMO.
