Question Best alternative to powdercoating rearend?

ok guys well going to order a 9" soon but powder coating is a bit much for my college student budget (200.00 bucks) so i was wondering what other coatings have you used that holds up to the weather and rocks well.

let me know thanks

You could always call around and find a local powdercoater and see if it's cheaper. Or regular rustoleum is going to be the next best i would guess. You have to put somethign on there, or its going to be rusted like hell.

I used a spray paint for wheels from AutoZone.

My friend used it on the wheel on his girlfriend's car, and it still looks new. I tried it on my Moser 9" and it is holding up great. It seems to dry harder than regular spray paint..
