Sub Frame Connectors We'll its time to start doing some suspension / chassis mods to my car. I am going to start off with some SFC's. How much better are the 3 point connectors compared to the 2 point ones? I was planning on going UMI, anyone suggest any other brand ? Any input is appreciated.

It all depends on what your plans are with the vehicle. If you are going to be racing it a lot or eventually have plans for making big power I would suggest going with the 3 pointers. But if you are just going to be driving it as a daily driver and go to the track a handful times a year. Then I would suggest going with a set of 2 pointers. No matter which one you choose you can not go wrong. If you have any other questions feel free to ask and I will be more than glad to help.

i just got my 3pt bolt ins and i was wondering after i install them im going to get them welded. do i just get the tabs welded and keep the bolts in? btw, the 3pt connect to the tq arm relocation kit right?

I have the UMI 3-points and they firmed up the car a lot. My old WS6 didn't have as many miles or wear and tear as my current T/A, and the SFC's helped a lot to get rid of the squeaks and flex I could feel (I used to be able to feel the t-tops moving before I installed them).

ive got 2pt weld in, and theyre more then enough for most people. i autox and do track days, and i have no worries about not having enough strengthening with only a 2pt. if youre making chassis twisting, wheel lifting power while stab & steer, or only running slicks on a track with a full race car, then maybe 3pts will help. dont ever feel that 2pts arent enough for you.

So I'm wondering where EXACTLY do the SFC's weld/bolt in? I've only seen a handful of pictures but can't make them out where they are placed to install. Does anyone have any pictures on where the 2 points or 3 points would go? Thanks!
