Default Are SFC's soupose to do this?

A week after installing my UMI sub frames on my 02 camaro I noticed black spots in front of each front mounting points. I drove it an hour ago and the black spots are warm to the touch. It is on both sides also. Are the sfc's warping the metal or what?

Thumbs up UMI Performance!

Hello
Thanks for the Business with UMI Performance! I have never heard of any problems with our SFC warping the frame. The black spot that is on your frame looks like over spray of undercoating from the factory. Seeing how the SFC are bolted in they should not have anything to do with this problem. Seeing how you are saying it is warm to the touch it is possible for the exhaust to be making it warm. If you have any other questions feel free to give Jerry or I a call and we will be more than glad to help!
Thanks
Brad

SFCs aren't doing that. Especially if it is hot you need to check your exhaust.
