Default Show me your painted valve covers and coil packs etc.

Anyone paint their valvecovers, coils, and coil brackets? Considering doing this vs. Katech VCs and a coil-relocation. I like the OEM functionality of leaving the packs in place vs. hiding them and running longer wires etc.

I believe there is already a thread about exact same thing in the detail section. I've painted valve covers with high temp engine paint and the brackets as well. Then I painted the coils with red caliper paint as it sprays on thick and evens out so there is no need to prime them. You just clean them with a grease remover and rubbing alcohol and paint them. After a while I wanted more so I polished the valve covers. And now I'm sending my valve covers and coil brackets off to be chromed.

Here is my setup.

Gray LS2 Covers
Black LS1 Brackets
Red LS1 Coil Packs
Gray bolts
MSD Wires

I just painted mine with satin black Krylon after washing them with Super Clean
