Default Vibration coming from the rearend I think

I hate describing things over the internet. Just wanted to here some ideas on what you think it is. I can drive down the road through 1st and 2nd. Whenever I start coasting to a stop my car starts vibrating all the way till I stop. I have a tunnel mounted T/A so I can hear everything lol. Its like whenever I am coasting it vibrates and has a slight roar. I can drive down the highway and push in the clutch to switch gears and it does it until I gas it. Im thinking gears or a bearing is out? Any help is appreciated
Thanks-Cody

You think its from the rear end ? do you feel it in the steering the rear end /floor wheel bearing your going to hear a humming noise if thats what you are talking about . go over things you might have done lately check the trans mount etc .

^^^ i agree, check the most recent items/mods done. Anyone suspect this could be a pinion angle issue??

When Im just cruising I can hear a slight humming sound also. The trans mount (poly) is not even 2 years old. I just recently had the driveshaft cut down because it was too long and kept ****** my u-joints up. My pinion angle is at about a -2 right now. Whenever I put in my new gears recently I didnt really break them in lol. I drove around for a couple miles and let them sit for a few hours and drove around again. I did this a couple of times and then I took it to the track 2 days later. The sound when I start coming to a stop sounds like a roar.

Here are some pics of the U-joint. I dont know what keeps causing this crap. This is my 4th u-joint to end up like this. My pinion is set at -2 I believe and there is a 1 1/4 inch gap between the tranny and driveshaft. Could my rearend need squaring up?

i thought that gap between the DS and the tranny was to be around 3/4 of an inch or so....
is your rear not square? (thrust angle out)

I think the rearend needs to be moved about a half an inch to the right. Its off by a bit side to side. Im just gonna take some measurements from different spots to make sure everything is alright.
