Conversions & Hybrids - Any pics of truck intake on '78-'81 Malibu?

I am looking at an SUV 6.0L for my Malibu and was wondering if the intake will fit under the hood or if I will have to go to a passenger car intake (and then water pump, and balancer, and accessories, etc...).

Does anyone have pictures of it working (if it does).

I have a slight cowl hood (2" Goodmark) but the structure is about the same as stock, with the exception of where the air cleaner would go.

It should fit just fine. I have a stock flat hood on my 85 el camino and it clears ok. The decorative cover needs to be removed and the EVAP purge solenoid needs to be relocated but thats it. Theres a bunch of pics on my fquick account.

I too would like to see some pics. I cant use the truck intake system (it goes to the passenger side) cuz it hits the A/C lines at the condenser. Im gonna have to go to the drivers side with it.

Anyone got an suggestions??
