Default Does TM make the car lean out?

First day at the track with the TCI SSF. Was pulling 1.8's out of the hole with nitto's, but bogging down around the 40 mph mark and then slowly pick up.

Made a pass with Autotap and it shows it was leaning out. Is that something that Torque Management does?

01 SS, JetHot longtubes, lid, ORP, Hooker, Transgo.

I think the only thing that TM does is pull some timing. I could be wrong though.

40MPH would be your 1-2 upshift. If you are lean (open
loop) then this is where you will get some transient
knock, and the PCM will apply knock retard that then
takes several tenths of a second to fully go away. In
my mixture / spark tweaking, this point is the last place
KR blips persisted, going leaner to richer incrementally
with PE (power enrichment) Predator settings.
