What do you guys think
I have been approached by 2 different people who want to buy my car. I am just unsure of what is a reasonable asking price for my car. I know what KBB & NADA value it at, but what do you guys think is a current fair value?
My car is a 2002 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 with t-tops & 80k miles. It is auto. I have added Hotchkis springs, Tokico HP struts & shocks, Spohn LCA, Edlebrock adjustable panhard bar, flowmaster, rebuilt 10 bolt with a Moser cover & brace, slotted / cross drilled rotors, Hawk pads, Weld Racing Forged 18x9.5 wheels, BFG tires (275/35/18), SLP lid with K&N filter, SLP MAF, SLP smooth bellow, BBK 85mm throttle body, and tuned by CMS. White face gauges, billet WS6 pedal covers, WS6 billet shifter ****, SLP Floor Mats, custom rear trophy mat, and a 1500 watt stereo system with 2 Rockford Fosgate 12" Subs. There is more, but this gives everybody an idea.
KBB & NADA are around $12k. I checked out autotrader within 200 miles & came up with 4 cars priced between $17.5k and $41k (this guy is just insane).

You have alot opf money in mods like alot of us do but it really doesnt up the value of the car. If it is in perfect shape which it looks like it is id say you may get $12,500. Its just not a time to sell and its hard to say if you could even get that much.
If I were to sell my car I couldnt even get what I paid for it much less how much I have into it, the girlfriend wants me to sell it but I told her id only let it go for an 06+ Z06

honestly this is the wrong place to ask how much its worth, 90% of us would overprice it because we love this cars and most of us payed almost 12-20 k for a car like this a couple years ago, but now these cars have drop in value so much with economy most of us would get half of what we think our cars are worth

Like stated previously, it's a buyer's market. Those guys on autotrader can ask whatever they want, doesn't mean they will get it.
If anyone offers you more than $11k for it, jump on it. The negatives, aside from the market, are that it's an auto, and the miles are getting high (not high for the age, but high for a sports car).

Both unfortunately true
Its kinda cool since I'm looking for a car I may find the deal I'm looking for but it sucks cuz it just shows you how depressing the economy has become.

Thats exactly what you need haha. Better yet, get a Caprice with a 9c1 package. You can find those for a couple grand. They will last for ever if you take care of them.
..But yeah, you have a car thats the last of its breed. I wouldnt sell it. It looks too good.

Mods are pennies on the dollar or pure negatives in this market UNLESS you sell the car to an enthusiast. 10k private sale seems right, anything above that you are getting a good deal.
