Default lt1 to ls1: injector fuse

I keep blowing one of the 7.5 amp under hood fuses labeled "injector" when I go WOT. Threw me for a loop because the car seems to be running fine. I got to thinking that maybe the LS1 injectors pull more amps and need a bigger fuse so I asked a buddy and he has 15amp fuses in the injector location in the fuse box.

Is this my problem, just change to 15amp fuses and I'll be good to go right? Or should I not even be blowing 7.5's and I might have a problem

Thanks,
Kyle

I didn't change any fuses on mine and have had no problems. It's possible you have an injector thats drawing more than it should be.

I had the same exact problem. And, it didn't start until after I had a couple thousand miles on the swap oddly enough. A buddy of mine solved the problem for me. PM me and I'll give you his board name here.....he can help you out.

I think I got it with the 20 amp fuses...haven't popped. The injectors are measuring 12.7-12.8 with an ohm meter. Haven't had time to check fuel psi or pull injector on the back side to see if it is clogged yet.
