Coolant???
I know that there is GM DEXcool made to put in LS engines and from what I understand its for the aluminum pieces. I know that you can not mix green and whatever color else there may be. If you were to flush you cooling system in an LS engine and put the green orignal coolant in it, what might fail, or become ruined, or will everything be ok. What are the ups and downs of the green in one of our engines and what does the DEXcool do?
Thanks
Ryan

Your best bet would be the gold coolant. Get some prestone extended life. I got rid of dex-cool and use extended life with no issues. It mixes with any dex-cool that is left over.
