I was about two hours from home when my tranny went out. Had to be hauled on a flat bed to a transmission shop in Fond du lac, WI. They will be calling tomorrow after doing a diagnostic on the car. My question is what would everyone do or recommend as far as getting the car back on the road? I was thinking about just have them rebuild it and be done but was also looking into a finsh line stage 4 transmission with a Vigilante 3600 converter and adding a 24,000 GVM transmission cooler but am unsure if this is a good choice for what I have. The mods to the Camaro as of right now are all just bolt ons, Off road race headers into the y pipe with !cats and a Corsa catback exhaust is the extent of the work so far that is worth mentioning. The car has approx. 75,000 miles and is a 2000 Z28.

ttt. I was just looking in the sales section and found a special on xtreme perfomance transmissions. Has anyone had any experience with these as opposed to finish line and performabuildt?
