Pontiac Firebird 1967-2002 - These damn headlights

So i go to get my car inspected and come to find out my rear brake lights do not function. The two side ones in the back do not light, but the top one does.:bang: The turn signals work on each light though, so it cant be the bulb? I tried google but cant find any help. Anyone have any similar problems? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I own a 2001 Artic White T/A M6 WS6

if its like the front turn signals, the bulbs are a dual filament...so chances are it could still be the bulbs that are burnt out since the 3rd (middle) light still functions.

The two tail lights on the outermost edge of the tail light housings are just tiny little bulbs. They usually burn out well before the signal/brake bulbs.
