Default Blitz boost controller question

I have an LS1 motor with a turbo and a single solenoid, Blitz boost controller. The WG has a 2.6 pound spring. My problem is I cannot get more than 4.5 pounds of boost using the controller. For example I set channel 1 to a max boost of 6 pounds and a gain of 15 and it only makes 4.5 pounds. I have also set the gain to 25 and got less boost. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I think you are limited to around 2x the spring pressure with a boost controller. So try a spring with a higher pressure.

I thought there might be some relationship between the spring and the max boost. The only information I found on the web said that the max boost for this controller was 18 psi and it might be less for cars making more than 300 horsepower.
