Ideas to make more money? I'm looking for ideas on how to make money. I have a primary job (U.S. Navy) and work 5 days a week there 12's, and have a part time job at Home Depot, 15-25 hrs. a week. I'm looking for something else that could bring in some more money to pay off debt, and have a little more money. Not some fly-by-night internet miracle stuff(I don't think that stuff works). Any ideas?

I am an aircraft mechanic by trade structures/hydraulics/composite repair. Outside of that, I used to wrench on other peoples cars a lot, but that was networked through my old job where everyone knew me as the "car guy". I haven't done that much mech. on the side for a while. Are you suggesting I look into a waiter job? Any other ideas. Home Depot only pays $10.00/hr but thats more then I'd make sitting at home. I read a post about Nineball having something like 6 incomes and makes me feel like a lazy dirtbag. I don't mind at all working for money, and actually need to find another source of income because I want to pay off some bills this year.

, 95 T/A vert., needing something else. I may try the bartending or waiter thing, I had back surgery 6 mos. ago so I don't think I'll be getting into the landscape business anytime soon. -SS

Anything else, besides being a ***** (wife wouldn't approve much), or lawn work? I'm considering trying a bartender/waiter, good tips right??? I'm 28 and always had real jobs, working with a trade, but want something else for some play money.

if you have a dd that gets good mpg's I always banked delivering pizza, but make sure you get a location near the nicer side of town, I passed 4 pizza places on the way to work, to get to one with a nicer neighborhood lol

You can make great money waiting tables if you pick the right restaurant. I used to wait/bartend at gringos in pearland back in the day and made pretty good money for me. I'd work thursday night, all day friday, saturday night and sunday morning and make between $500-600 bucks, not bad for a college kid...lol.

Not sure where you are stationed and if you have a clearance but if there are secured spaces on base requiring s to work in, you could work as a janitor cleaning the spaces after hours.....if there is a cleaning company doing this.
If that doesn't work, there is always stripping or pimping.

If you have some kind of specialized knowledge, for instance on vehicle repair, restoration, modding, etc and if you have a computer, you could start up your own blog on the internet and signup for google ads (e.g. place ads on the site with links related to your site, e.g. automotive). If your skills are good enough and if your site attracts enough attention, you'll steadily start earning income that way. Eventually you might even attract the attention of legitimate sponsors who will pay extra money to have prominent banners or articles written about their products, etc. If anything it's fun and in the process you learn more about whatever it is you're doing. Not to mention having a lot of writing about your area of expertise helps you land a job in said area at some point in the future--if that is a hobby and not your primary source of income already.
Anyways just a thought, I haven't done this personally but have seen others do this and I'm sure this site makes a pretty penny with sponsor revenue (don't know how the revenue compares with the cost of hosting a site as large as this though, but just an example).
