My car wont shift at 6000-6500 Help Please My 98 trans am wont shift at 6500 I have just installed a spec 3+ clutch kit flywheel with the shim,drill mod,new slave,an a ford 9in rear end ..I have did the break in on the clutch an took it out awhile ago an rolled in to it in 2nd an at 6200 an at 6500 it would not go in to 3rd gear ..So help anyone I have spent alot of money on this for it not to work..O ya I used to have a ls7 clutch an hand no problem with the shifts an the 9in was already in the car at that time.This was on motor I have not tried to spray it yet
I did change the tranny but it shifts fine but is a little notche
