overheating traffic

Default overheating traffic

ok so my 2000 trans am overheats in traffic?? i can drive the same 40 miles at 80 mph with the ac full blast and its fine, when im stop and go its shooting fluid out the overflow.. what do you guys think

Yep, check the fans and check the air dam underneath the front end.

If those are good, take the lid/filter/filter box off and look down into the radiator and check for dirt/debris. Clean it out as necessary.

i agree, sounds like a fan issue.

take a look at the a/c condensor... if it has a bunch of crap stuck in it that may be your problem... fans could be a problem also as stated above

im having the same problem on my 2004 GTO, its at the dealer now
