Default Twin Master Power T70's or T76's

I've decided on Master Power since I just had to shell out money for my truck going into the shop and my old Mercedes diesel. Two vehicles in the shop in 2 days sucks.

Going twins in a forged iron block 9.3:1 370. 243/247 .623/.623 on a 116 cam. 4200lb GTO with a TH400 4200 stall, 3.46 gears and 26" tires.

I know the T76 is using the same P-trim exhaust wheel as the T70. Or I could get a Q-trim wheel, but that only comes in a divided 1.0 AR.

I live in Phoenix where it's HOT. I was thinking the larger compressor would flow more at a lower boost level.

What do you all think? Get the T76's(P or Q) or just stay with the T70's?

Any of the MP's would be fine, and can't be beat for the money. I was planning on a set of MP T70's for my 408", until I found a deal I couldn't refuse on my 76mm Turbonetics huffers.

Talked with Modular Turbo and I'm just going to go with twin T70's .96AR. Best bang for the buck and when I become limited on power I can always upgrade to a couple of Turbonetics or Precision turbos.

I would have thought .96 AR would have been a bit big on a twin turbo setup, most run that on a single on a 346.

Twin T70's will see you over 1000 rwhp if you engine is built to take it.

I don't want to get choked off in the upper rpms. I may put some .81 housings on and try that. I'm running ported heads and a big cam, so its going to use a lot of air.

are you using a custom system or buying a twin set up w/o the turbos? twin 70's would be sweet for the street, and I like the twin 76's for the track.

Custom setup with C6 manifolds. I have a transbrake, so I think I'll give the .96AR housings a go. I did some hard thinking on the MP 76's and since two would be $1500 I may as well spend the extra $500 and get two Turbonetics. So I'll stick with the MP T70's at $1200 for both.

Twin Turbonetics TC67-78's would be killer on that combo and easy to package because of there small size.

I know. Work cut my OT, so I don't know if I can swing the TC's. I still have the motor in the machine shop getting finished, still need injectors, still need to pay for the fab work. One part of me says do the budget thing and the other part of me say's "F it, it's only another $800 for TC76's". The wife questioning me on how much more I have to spend didn't go over well either, lol.

An $800 difference in turbo's during a FI build is a drop in the bucket

The reliability and additional power would be well worth it.

But the twin MPT70's for 1200 is cheap.

What kind of power and ET's are you hoping for?

I've been using MP turbos for about 3 years now and selling them for about a year. Haven't had a single problem with ANY of them. They are a GREAT bang for the buck turbo.
