Default How do you know when your clutch is going?

I know this is super noobish, but I have a feeling my clutch is just about to go. Is there any way to find out for sure with out having to replace it?

O btw the car is an 01 SS with 73k

Get going up a slight hill and put it in to 5th or 6th and floor it. If the rpms start to climb fast and the car doesn't accelerate you clutch is slipping. You can also try to pull the hand brake and let the clutch out if the car won't stall out the clutch is slipping.
