Rod knock???

Started car and was knockin. Pulled covers,plugs,belt. Turned over by hand to see if maybe was topend. Engine turned maybe 1/4 then locked up. Drained oil thru coffee filter and got pieces of metal. Cut filter,more metal AND copper. Any ideas? thx http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AHQA3ChYOIM

spun a bearing mabey? need to pull it apart to be certian i wouldnt start it again until its fixed

It will def not be started again. 106k miles. former Fla hwy patrol vehicle. No tellin how long was idled while in service. I had 20k miles of pure fun with this engine!
