Does it stay on when the car is runing? Mine did that for a few days and never had a problem since. There was a few times the car wouldn't start, waited a few minutes and it was fine. If thats the prob, try cleaning the diode with alchohol. That seemed to work for me. Sometimes technology is a pain in the a$$
