I picked up the th400 from a local guy. He doesn't know which trans brake that is installed on it, I was hoping someone would be able to tell me which one it was. I'll be taking it to a local shop for a tear down so they can tell me whats done to it and see if there is anything wrong with it. I paid 300 bucks for it, so hopefully i won't be spending any more

If he had to mash the button to back up, it is a pro brake. There is really no other way to verify until you can get inside of the trans. Either way, you got a good deal for $300.
