Default Silver C5Z with Rage Motorsports sticker-Baytown?

Coming home from work today I see a silver C5Z up ahead. I figured I'd entertain him, lol. As I got beside him I threw a friendly rev. Of coarse I had to be in the wife's suv.

He had some meaty tires out back and appeared to have at least a cam. I just wanted to see if he was a member and say hello. Hopefully we run into each other again but that I'm in my car

Wow, just actually saw this post, lol. That's our shop car. It's a 427 LS3 with a set of our 243s and our custom cam in it with a little dope on top .

I used to work in Baytown and see that car quite often. Sounds nasty.

Car put down around 570rw N/A. It holds it own with the big aftermarket and LS7 heads for a lot less money.

Damn, I NEVER run into any cars worth running when I'm in my z28. I'd love to play around. I still haven't put the pedal all the way to the floor.

Yup u can def make the 243's flow some good number's but, put a set of PI ls7 on there and it will really roll out, just got some of there smaller runner sizes and they flowed in the upwards of 390cfm

Well when we built the car, intake choices for a LS7 head were very limited, which was also another deciding factor in the build. We're confident in our head work, so we're actually working on a set of L92s we had laying around for another motor we're doing, just to see if we can get them to perform since others have seen to have problems getting them to put down the numbers they should.

It should be stout when we can put down a full pass lol. HRP kept kicking us out for being too fast even when we were lifting, that and we were on the stock trans/rear and kept bending shift forks and worried about a hard launch. It's got an RPM TR6060 and a 6 point cage in it now.. so hopefully we can get at least one full pass in before we get the boot, lol.
