Default 1980 Firebird Driver's Seat

I have a 1980 Firebird in need of restoration (I'm the original owner.) I need to find a new driver's seat for it - I can't just buy the upholstery, the frame of the seat is bent and leans backwards.

Can anyone direct me to some sources?

Y'all be kind if I'm breaking any protocols, I'm a virgin at this kind of posting/forum, and I'm not much of a car person other than loving my little Fire Chickens - I have an '80 and an '85 both original to me!

Thanks in advance!

www.npdlink.com they are great for resto projects, if you prefered used, there is a guy in IN who owns probably more than 40 2gen cars and he sold me a lot of parts for my restoration project. his telephone number is 574-320-0084. if i remember correctly, his company was called musclecar junk and his name is pat

i dont see why you cant just buy the upholstery. im fairly sure all 2nd gen parts are available. try national parts depot, year one, and performance years. you can build an entire care out of nothing with just those 3 companies.

The frame can be easily repaired. It's usually a small crack that gets bigger. Basically, take the seat apart, weld it up, good as new. As for the upholstery, just replace.
