Default x pipe question

hey all. i was wondering your opinions on this. i have LT headers andi want to put an x pipe on my car next but i accidently ordered the 2.25 in. pipe. should i get the 2.5in or 3 in instead? thx

2.5 or 3 will be fine. Personally have 3 but I plan on a bigger build later on.

if i buy the 3" pipe would it have a hollow sound to it till i build more power?

2.25 is too small IMO. I chose 3 inch for my duals.
