Default Right Compression Ratio for Boosted 383??

Im going to run my new forged 383 with the sts t67 fmic. What is a good compression ratio to stick around was thinking 9.0:1 with the one piston setup or 9.7:1? What you guys think and how much boost would be appropriate with all callies forged?

For a turbo setup, I'd say 9.0:1

My builder who did alot of big power cars suggested 9 to 1 if you want to run mostly pump and street not as much pure track. 8.5 if it was more track oriented car running high boost and 9.5 if was goign to run alc/meth injection. I plan on running alc /meth injection so went with 9.5. Also my car is 99% street car and 1% track with track career going to be short lived as not planning on making it track legal for really fast times. it might not even get a rollbar.

9.0 seems to a pretty good compromise . If you are going to run e85 all the time you could go higher to 10.1 maybe beyond but you said you have those two choices so would say go with 9.0.

Builder is saying to with the -15cc's would put me around 9.7 - 9.9 :1. This car has a turbo setup and will be driven on street almost daily might see a track once a year for **** and show not much else. Anybody got safe boost figures?? I will be running premium unleaded 92 or 93 here in Florida

8.0-8.5:1 is great for pump gas street cars, more boost on less octane with more safety. Everyone is always afraid of low comp though.

Well unless person is street racing not going to be in boost very much or for very long in the city.
For city use since I am not a street racer I like 9.0 or 9.5 and I like some gearing like 3.54 in auto and 3.42 to 3.73 in a stick. For track use on pump sure run lower compression. If running track with higher compression can run meth or race gas so again not really seeing the point in the really low compression for street builds.

This is a tough one its my daily driver, not going to track, 15 miles to work and back. Just a fun driver for me. I want to stay on pump gas, wonder why builder is suggesting the 9.7:1?? Zombie what kind of boost you thinks safe with the lower compression you stated, remember daily driver..
