Hey guys, I'm a proud new owner of a 98 M6 Z28.
Bought my ir from a member on here 3 weeks ago. After a bunch of DMV bullcrap and insurance fun, its finally able to tear up the street. I bought it as a primer-ed car and had MAACO do the paint. it didn't turn out too bad. But because the paint bubbled on the hood, they are going to respray it for FREE! with a better stage of paint. Its a gun metal gray with a little sparkle in it.
The wheels are SS ones. Only mods so far was to chop off the tips and put in a WS6 store short shifter. More to come in time.
I've been to quite a few meets, I tag along with Trent (Krazy4). If that's not enough, I brought out the white camry to the Diamond Bar meets, if you look hard enough, you can spy it in one of the pics.

Just about $650. I got it done at the MAACO in anaheim, off the 91 at Tustin ave. The guys there were great, the owner even made sure he was there to apologize for the paint screw up.

Good memory! those things sold surprisingly fast. lol
I know I should have since they were going to do the whole car, but I don't have the funds for it now.
I think it looks great for the price. the one shown has a 2 year warranty, but the one they are upgrading me to, has a 4 year one.
I didn't put the logo on since they are repainting it again next week.
I eventually plan to make it a cammed car with some spray. but all in good time, once my money tree blooms again.
Saturday night. I was going to take it this weekend, but I found the deal on the SS wheels so I decided to get them instead.

Thanks for the compliments guys!
I have seen a few really nice powder coat jobs done and I like them, but for now I like the chrome, but it could be a good possibility of happening.
Thanks, and the headlights are a definite for my next weekend project. They look awful in person. Like someone pissed on them, tinted them JDM style, than oxidized them.. I might just save my self the time and get some new ones, seems like the logical choice at this point.
