Default 2000 engine is it worth it?

im thinking of stating a build with a 2000 6.0l engine. i will doing heads, cam and stroking the engine. my question is this a ok engine to start with or should i look for a other engine?

So basically it's just 6.0L block that you'll be re-building on?

Yeah, I don't see a problem with that. I assume you already have the motor?

How much did you pay for it? And isn't the crank different from like 01 and up? I just got a 03 high milage lq4 and 80e today!

$800 for the engine and harness and it comes with a 4x4 4l80e that i will sell to buy a 2wd one. is the crank different?
