trying to d0 4l60e swap to a th400 im interested in doing a th400 swap into my 94z28.. I want to know is there any specific year i should get a th400 from? ..How much hp is a th400 capable of holding up ...?

Go over to the manual trans forum and read through the swap sticky there. I've done a write up for swapping to a TH350. My write up is in this section, just search for it by my name. I think I named it "how to swap from 4l60e to TH350". That should bring it up. Of course its been about year and half or more since I wrote it.
